Our daughter project LibFlatArray, a super-fast 2D/3D container class, has shipped its inaugural release 0.1.0. LibFlatArray presents the user with an array of structs (AoS) view of his data, while actually storing it in a struct of arrays (SoA) layout. The former is convenient for the programmer while the latter is benefitial to the processor (supports vectorization, removes address computation overhead). As usual, the tarballs are here.
